Pete's story...

"Ever since a very young age I've had an insatiable passion for food and the culinary world. Learning from my Greek/Cypriot mother, spending hours in the kitchen and perfecting my craft, my fascination with food quickly became an obsession. Sadly, I did not attend to my true calling as a teen, venturing into the real world from school, I was launched head first into an industry that gave me no joy. After 25 years of being a mechanic, working day in and day out in an industry that lead to the demise of my mental health, I finally took a leap of faith into the culinary world I was made for. With my last pay cheque and the small amount of savings that I had to my name, Pete the Greek was born and I haven't looked back."

Pete catered for my husbands 50th birthday. WOW bloody amazing is all we can say, everyone is still talking about the food. Pete catered for my daughter and myself as we are both Coeliac as well as vegetarian options. Great service, so much beautiful food and nothing was too much trouble! Need catering? Absolutely awesome food for my 60th birthday! The meats were incredible as well as the Greek salads. Also have to mention the home made Baklava which was delicious. They made my night, would recommend them for any occasion.

I was told how good Pete's food was so it was organised for myself and my family to be at a venue that Pete was for my birthday and I've got to say, Pete has the best lamb gyros I've ever eaten! Yes I know, big call, however I've had gyros in Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Sydney and Hobart and none compare to Pete's! Pete himself also went out of his way to come and find us to make sure we got our order in so we didn't miss out. I will definately be hunting down Pete again to fill my belly with more of his delicious food!
