"Ever since a very young age I've had an insatiable passion for food and the culinary world. Learning from my Greek/Cypriot mother, spending hours in the kitchen and perfecting my craft, my fascination with food quickly became an obsession. Sadly, I did not attend to my true calling as a teen, venturing into the real world from school, I was launched head first into an industry that gave me no joy. After 25 years of being a mechanic, working day in and day out in an industry that lead to the demise of my mental health, I finally took a leap of faith into the culinary world I was made for. With my last pay cheque and the small amount of savings that I had to my name, Pete the Greek was born and I haven't looked back."
